Shirley Bolstok Poet, Visionary

POETRY

VISION

I am a child of mother earth.

Molecule matter.  Tell me maker, who am I?

Galaxies number more than grains of sand, dry land.

Energy compels me to think, what I know.

More about, how to grow.

Academics, why is pie?

From origin, time, to wit's end,

My quest to harness; all my mind can sow.

Let thought be infinite, even when there is no rhyme.

For knowledge is what we discover

Our desire to explore; a descendant's, mortal birth.
